Our Story

As the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve 2017, the city that never sleeps became the backdrop for a spark that would ignite a beautiful journey. What began as a spontaneous date quickly blossomed into something extraordinary. From the moment Ankit picked Esha up, he felt an undeniable connection– her warmth effortlessly enveloping his circle of friends and making him realize how special she truly was. Little did he know Esha was equally captivated by his charisma and compassion, making their bond undeniable from the start.

After that unforgettable night, he couldn’t shake the desire to see her again before she returned to college in Florida. What was meant to be a quick lunch turned into six enchanting hours of laughter, stories, and discovering the deep bond they shared—one that felt as if it had been years in the making.

Their conversations flourished, and by the end of January, Ankit made his first trip to visit Esha at school. Valentine’s Day brought another surprise visit, where Esha braved the question: “Why haven’t you made me your girlfriend yet?” From that moment, they embarked on a two-year long-distance relationship, bridging the miles between Florida and New Jersey with stolen weekends, endless FaceTime dates, and the joy of using up their parents’ airline points just to be together.

In the summer of 2020, they took a leap and began living together in Philadelphia as Esha started her medical school journey. Navigating the growing pains of cohabitation during a pandemic tested their bond, but further solidified their belief that they were meant to last. 

The summer of 2022 marked a significant milestone as they embarked on their first international trip together, starting amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland and culminating in a magical proposal in Paris.

As they wrapped up their time in Philadelphia, Ankit proudly watched Esha graduate from medical school in 2024, while she knew she would not have gotten to that point without his unwavering support. Together they adopted their adorable dog, Rosie, into their growing family. Now, as they settle in New Jersey to be closer to their friends and family, they look forward to writing the next chapter of their love story—hand in hand, heart to heart.
